Intellectual Property Office – David Lammy, MP

The Challenge

Raise the profile of David Lammy, then Minister of State for Intellectual Property and that of key issues relating to the Digital Britain Government consultation, amongst target media audience.

Our Approach

Put together a detailed briefing document for the Minister on all the key intellectual property issues, including copyright, illegal down-loading and the roll-out of broadband. Looked at how each of those issues would affect media stakeholders and as a consequence, how best to communicate the Government?s key messages to the target audience.

The Results

Quality coverage in the media ?bible? the Guardian with a profile interview appearing in the Observer. Coverage also appeared in the Daily Telegraph and the Times as well as a selection of trade publications including Music Week.
